Terms of Service

Welcome to Canavar Online. By creating an account, playing as a guest, or otherwise using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the age of digital consent in your country) to create an account. If you are a minor under local law, a parent or legal guardian must consent to these Terms on your behalf.

2. Accounts

• Keep your password confidential. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Anonymous (guest) accounts are temporary and cannot use social features (friends, channels, invites, stats, push notifications).
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, without notice.
• One account per person. Creating multiple accounts to evade a ban is prohibited.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Harass, threaten, dox, or intimidate other users.
• Post hate speech, sexual content involving minors, or content that is illegal in your jurisdiction.
• Cheat, use bots, exploit bugs, automate gameplay, or modify the client.
• Attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours.
• Attempt to overload, probe, or reverse-engineer our servers.
• Share phishing links, malware, or commercial spam in chat.
• Impersonate staff or other users (usernames that mimic "canavar" or official branding may be reclaimed).

Violations can result in warnings, chat mutes, temporary suspensions, or permanent bans. Severe or illegal conduct may be reported to law enforcement.

4. User-generated content

Chat messages, bio text, room names, and any other content you submit are your responsibility. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, transmit, and display that content as needed to operate the Service. You retain all other rights to your content.

We may remove any content at any time at our sole discretion.

5. Virtual items and currency

Points earned from matches, unlocked characters, ratings, and similar items have no real-world monetary value. They are a license to use within the Service and cannot be redeemed for cash, sold, or transferred between accounts. We may adjust balances to correct bugs or exploit abuse.

6. Service availability

The Service is provided on a best-effort basis. We may:

• Take the Service offline for maintenance or updates.
• Change, remove, or add features.
• Reset season data, leaderboards, or ladder rankings.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, zero lag, or preservation of any specific feature.

7. Privacy

Our handling of personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

8. Reporting abuse

Use the in-game Report feature or email canavaronlinecom@gmail.com for harassment, cheating, or illegal content. Provide the offender's username, approximate time, and any relevant context.

9. Intellectual property

The game code, art, audio, character designs, trademarks, and brand elements are owned by Canavar Online or our licensors. You may not copy, distribute, publicly display, modify, or create derivative works without written permission, except for your own personal gameplay screenshots/clips.

10. Termination

You may delete your account at any time (see Privacy Policy §8). We may terminate or suspend your account for any material breach of these Terms. After termination, these Terms remain in effect for sections that by their nature survive (IP, liability, disputes).

11. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. USE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

12. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CANAVAR ONLINE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. Our aggregate liability for any claim related to the Service shall not exceed €20 or the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is greater.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced in-game and the "Last updated" date will change. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms; if you do not accept, stop using the Service and delete your account.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator is based, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably may be brought before the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
